4 Things WWE Think The Fans Want To See By WrestleMania 34

After WWE posted a video titled 4 things we want to see at WrestleMania 34 (which you can see here) I want to take their four things and expand on them a little, giving my opinion on if we or rather I would want to see these thing leading into next year’s biggest pay per view.

So the first thing involves Stephanie McMahon and the fact that she’s never been in a match at WrestleMania while her husband, father and brother all faced off against someone on the grandest stage, two of them even against each other.

But we have never seen the billionaire princess step up for a match, granted we have had her at ringside on multiple occasions and even in segments within the squared circle but never in a wrestling capacity.

Now would we want to see such a match? When she had her segment with UFC women’s legend Ronda Rousey we thought we would get the one on one match at the next years WrestleMania but it wasn’t to be but again would we want to see a match featuring Mrs Hunter-Hurst Helmsley?

Well personally…no, not really, while she had feuds with legends like Trish Stratus and Lita there’s no one on the current roster that I think is really on the same level as Stephanie McMahon so unless you get Lita or Trish Stratus back or someone like Rousey, a match against McMahon – no matter the competitor wouldn’t be that good.

Of course, you all know the rule with Celebrity appearances at WrestleMania, they always have to win so any match would just be unbelievably predictable…sorry Steph!

The next on the video list was John Cena vs roman reigns, whether this would be for a championship, I have no idea but since the company is throwing Reigns (who I am a fan of) at everyone as a face that their trying to replace Cena’s win, the only good thing a match like this would be for is Cena to pass off the preverbal touch to Reigns.

With John Cena missing for what is most likely much of 2017 with movie commitments, Reigns is literally taking his spot, both a baby faces for the company and there are no current works in the grape vine to turn either heel.

Would we want to see such a match? Would we… the pair has never had their one on one match as of yet, sure they’ve mixed it up in tag team matches and whatnot but never one on one, I suppose if there were certain scenarios in place…yeah I wouldn’t mind seeing a match between these two.

If Reigns were champion and they were going to use the match to push Cena past Ric Flairs record of most world championships then yeah I could see the match happening, perhaps a Royal Rumble victory will see how Cena might challenge.

Next…Champion vs Champion…Since the day all those years ago when Hulk Hogan took on the Ultimate Warrior, in a winner take all bout, with the than WWF and the still Intercontinental Championships on the line, which the Warrior won, the WWE has never really crouched upon the idea of a champion vs champion bout again at WrestleMania.

Would we like to see such a match? Well frankly…yeah I wouldn’t mind it but the likelihood of that happening in current times is nearly non-existent, with the brand split back in place, each show holding its own championships, there’s not really many you could combined.

You sure as hell couldn’t do it with the main belts, even if their under different names, the idea has been done to death, the belts have been unified and then undone again so many times even Gorilla Monsoon is rolling his eyeballs.

So while we wouldn’t mind seeing a match featuring champion against champion, perhaps it would be better if it was a non-title bout or better yet perhaps let a bout take place for brand supremacy, one on one, champ vs champ, at WrestleMania.

Last on the list is essentially a repeat of the Gimmick Battle Royal from WrestleMania X7, where past superstars would return to compete in a battle royal for nostalgic sake and to be sure this would be a very idea, I’d want to see it.

Manly because it would be mostly superstars that I grew up watching and for them to make a reappearance, even for one night only would be a fantastic bout to see and you can bet your ass I would want to see the Undertaker win it.

What do you think, would you want to see any of these matches?

Been a fan of the WWE since 2000, watched a few from the early years online, wasn’t a fan of where the “Powers that be” were taking the company but it has gotten better with the brand split, I thought that it was a format that worked
