Elimination Chamber Prediction Results…

The door of the Elimination Chamber closes for the last time on this pay per view and we begin with a few hiccups to start with.

First off, a kick-off match that was never announced in time for my blog and I checked…believe that it did take place and while I cannot claim a win or loss point for my tally, Stardust defeated Zack Ryder…

Then if that wasn’t bad enough moments before the pay per view was to start, a report came of Rusev pulling out of the Intercontinental Championship Chamber match due to injury with no replacement named it would spin a twist in that match-up.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day defeated Tyson Kidd & Cesaro, the Ascension, the Prime Time Players, Los Matadores and the Lucha Dragons to retain their Tag Team Championships…

We officially start with a win as the New Day retaining were one of my picks to win the match

Score + 1 – 0

Divas Champion Nikki Bella defeated Paige and Naomi to retain her divas championship…
We level the score as I thought Tamina would have gotten involved

Score + 1 – 1

NXT Champion Kevin Owens defeated United States Champion John Cena…

Shock on a massive upset but leaves me on the wrong end of the prediction tally…

Score + 1 – 2

Neville defeated Bo Dallas…

Score + 2 – 2 levelling the score as Neville continues to progress through the ranks…

Ryback defeated Shamus, “Bad News” Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth and Mark Henry (Replacing injured Rusev) to become the Intercontinental Champion…

Well I had three shots at getting this one right but my picks of Shamus, Ziggler and Barrett didn’t get the job done so this gives me a loss in my tally…

Score + 2 – 3

With just the main event to go I will either draw or lose my predictions in what would be a first in so many pay per views

Now when it came to the main event I said Seth Rollins would win and retain his championship and he did retain the title but lost the match via disqualification so technically…

Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins via DQ but Rollins retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship…

So I was right that he would retain but wrong that he would win the match…so how do I call it because I was right and wrong do I just cancel the prediction point…

But to be fair I will add a point to both the win and loss column so final score + 3 – 4

So in the end I have lost my prediction, the first in many pay per views but better luck next time…

And speaking of next time, just shy of two weeks away, it WWE Money in the Bank I hope you did better than I in your predictions for the Elimination Chamber and I will see you all at Money in the Bank…

Been a fan of the WWE since 2000, watched a few from the early years online, wasn’t a fan of where the “Powers that be” were taking the company but it has gotten better with the brand split, I thought that it was a format that worked
