WWE has announced a match for the last SmackDown before TLC to determine challengers for tag team gold…
The WWE TLC opponents for SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno will be determined Tuesday, Nov. 29, when American Alpha face the destructive duo of Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt on SmackDown LIVE.
Jason Jordan & Chad Gable looked like they had the No. 1 contender status locked up a week earlier, having prevailed in a Tag Team Turmoil Match against The Usos, The Hype Bros, Breezango, The Vaudevillains and The Ascension on SmackDown LIVE.
It was only after their hard-fought victory, however, that American Alpha learned there is still one more team to defeat before moving on to the champions: The New Wyatt Family. While pledging to beat down Jordan & Gable, the venomous pairing of Orton & Wyatt agreed to give the former NXT Tag Team Champions a week “to catch their breath” before entering battle.
Now is WWE making Wyatt/Orton into a legitimate tag team and are they pushing them a championship run to end off the year or are problems going to come around at the pay per view to kick off a feud that will carry throughout 2017?
