WWE Survivor Series Prediction Results…

Now I was vastly disappointed that the WWE only announced six matches for this pay per view, despite announcing a seventh, no participants were named and it ended up not being the only one so the following results I can claim neither a victory point or a defeat in my prediction tally…

Goldust, Titus O’Neil, Neville & The Dudley Boyz defeated The Miz, Bo Dallas, Stardust & The Ascension (five on five elimination match)

Ryback, The Usos & The Lucha Dragons defeated The New Day, Shamus & King Barrett

Now moving on to some predicted results…

Roman Reigns defeated United States Champion Alberto Del Rio to advance to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

Roman was always going to the final, you could tell that when he turned down the offer by C.O.O Triple H at the start of the whole thing so I officially start my tally with a win +1

Dean Ambrose defeated Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens to advance to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

While choosing an opponent to face Reigns I was debating with myself on whether the WWE would use this tournament to give further boost to Owens but thankfully I did say Ambrose would win so…+1

Charlotte defeats Paige to retain her Divas Championship

Charlotte’s reign was never really in any danger and should hold onto the title till at least the New Year but it was a correct prediction so scratch another win for me +1

Tyler Breeze defeated Dolph Ziggler

Well I always wondered how long my luck would actually hold out before I got a point for the loss column and Ziggler provided it, as he was my prediction to get past Breeze -1

The Undertaker & Kane defeated Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper

As it was the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Undertaker at Survivor Series, this prediction was in very little doubt, the return of the Brothers of Destruction made the win over members of the Wyatt family all the more likely +1

Roman Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose in the tournament finals to become new WWE World Heavyweight Champion…

Now I cant actually claim a prediction point here because I said Shamus would cash in his Money in the Bank contract, I didn’t think they would allow a straight-out victory, I thought that (like WrestleMania) Shamus would cash in during the match…however…Shamus then cashes in his Money in the Bank Contract

Shamus defeated Roman Reigns to become New WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Thankfully this was an easy thing to foresee, with Reigns going against the Authority, him getting screwed out of the title in some form or fashion was always a strong possibility and gives me one final point for my tally +1

Total Score: 5 – 1: despite two matches that were never fully given on the WWE website, something that really does bug me – I mean I don’t begrudge them a surprise match here or there but if you announce a match at least give the players involved – I do end this prediction with a win, not quite a victory by a clean sweep (thanks Ziggler) but a victory none the less.

Now we must play the waiting game till December thirteenth for WWE’s Tables, Ladders & Chairs, will see you all there.

Been a fan of the WWE since 2000, watched a few from the early years online, wasn’t a fan of where the “Powers that be” were taking the company but it has gotten better with the brand split, I thought that it was a format that worked
