WWE Survivor Series 2014 Predictions…

But First…No Champion…???

As you all know from the Hell in a Cell pay per view, there was no championship main event instead it gave us a number one contender match and a grudge match but now the champion Brock Lesnar is a no show for the second pay per view in a row…

Rumour has it that Brock has a very expensive price tag for appearances and with McMahon cutting corners left, right and centre to save money (as its losing it but the quarter) the part time champion is left on the back burner…

In fact the powers at be are not only letting the champion ignore the rulebook but also blatantly throwing the golden rule of the champions thirty day title defence out the preverbal window…

For those that don’t follow, the rule is that a championship must be defended at least once a month (mostly these would co-inside with pay per views) although exceptions are made when the timeframes between pay per views are longer…

So Brock Lesnar should have been stripped of the championship not once (but by the end of Survivor Series), twice… so what’s going on? …

Rumour mills have been running wild with speculation that it would be Roman Reigns that would take the title away from the champion, others suggest it would be John Cena but not until the Royal Rumble which is (supposedly) when Lesnar’s first championship defence will be…

Others think that the Undertaker will come back and challenge for the title at WrestleMania Thirty-One or if not challenge then to certainly cost Lesnar the championship in response for breaking the streak last year…

But either way you have one champion a no show, another champions confirmed in a non-title match, the WWE is running out of titles to defend, but what do you think? Should Brock be stripped of his championship? Are the powers at be making the right call? Or are they cutting too much to save money?

After all there’s no Alberto Del Rio anymore, no Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins or Drew McIntyre even Manger Teddy Long and Referee Marc Harris have been cut, in my mind these “Budget” cuts coupled with injured stars, WWE doesn’t have a lot of talent left (at least that’s not in the ring every week) and not many main eventers in championship positions…

Team-Cena-vs.-Team-Authority

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match: Team Cena vs Team Authority

After refusing to join the power trip that is the authority, John Cena, the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship was told he would have to lead four other men against a five man team chosen by the authority in a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match…

Yet a curve ball would be thrown as a stipulation would be added in a surprise return to Raw by Mr McMahon that should the authority’s team lose at Survivor Series then the most powerful couple in WWE history would be stripped of that power permanently…

20141103_EP_LIGHT_SurvivorSeries_Match_CenaAuthority_HP_SponsorThe first confirmed participants were named on Raw as Seth Rollins and Kane would lead the Authority’s team while Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler would join team Cena…

It would one week later that newly crowned United States Champion Rusev and Mark Henry would join the Authority while the Former U.S Champion Shamus and the Big Show would join Team Cena

With only one place remaining to be filled, your guesses would be as good as mine on who would complete and round off the team…

Luke Harper would round off team Authority before capturing the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler, while Erick Rowan would replace an injured Shamus and with a man down it would the very man team Authority have been trying to recruit weeks before as Ryback rounds out Team Cena

Not to be outdone by the chairmen, Triple H would add the same stipulation to Team Cena they lose, their fired.

Prediction: my head says that some members of team Cena are more than likely going to double cross the group and are working with team Authority and their likely to lose but my heart says team Cena is going to win and am going with that

Team Cena to win

20141103_EP_LIGHT_SurvivorSeries_AJ_Nikki_HP

Divas Champion AJ Lee vs Nikki Bella (Divas Championship Match)

Prediction: as much as I can’t stand AJ Lee, Nikki Bella sure isn’t a favourite of mine either so with everything that has being going on lately I think for the first time in prediction history I’m routing for the champion

AJ Lee to retain

20141110_EP_LIGHT_SS_WyattVambrose-HOME

Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt

Prediction: as much as I would like Ambrose to win and I will be routing for him I feel that as Bray Wyatt has been gone he would likely be allowed to pick up some victories now he’s back

Bray Wyatt to win

20141103_EP_LIGHT_SurvivorSeries_Match_HP_4way

WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal Four Way Match: WWE Tag Team Champions Star & Goldust vs The Usos vs Los Matadores, and The Miz and his stunt double, Damien Mizdow.

Prediction: well since there are four teams running for the titles and with only a 25% chance of getting this right I am at least going to double my odds and pick two teams

Gold & Stardust to retain or the Usos to win

20141103_EP_LIGHT_SurvivorSeries_Match_NattyAliciaNaomiEmma_PaigeCameronSummerLayla_HP

Alicia Fox, Natalya, Naomi & Emma vs. Paige, Cameron, Summer Rae & Layla (Divas Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match)

Predictions: well I have to point out that with eight divas everyone’s a winner but since my odds are even worse with picking out individual winner’s I’m just going to pick a side
Members of Team Paige, Cameron, Summer Rae and Layla to win

Well as the pay per view is on tonight I add the prediction once again that more matches will be added to the show so for everyone that’s added I get a prediction win to keep that in mind people.

I will see you all at the Survivor Series, have a great time everyone

Been a fan of the WWE since 2000, watched a few from the early years online, wasn’t a fan of where the “Powers that be” were taking the company but it has gotten better with the brand split, I thought that it was a format that worked
