Champion vs Champion Survivor Series Match Mahal Vs Lesnar

Time is approaching for one of the big four pay per views of the year, this time, the Survivor Series and Smackdown’s WWE Champion Jinder Mahal promised a major announcement for a main event.

But his idea while Flanked by The Singh Brothers and fresh off a trip to his native India, was to declare that while he had defeated everyone worth defeating on SmackDown LIVE, he had a new conquest in mind: Raw’s Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. The challenge was laid down for a Champion Vs Champion match.

Now, our problem with this is that Lesnar hasn’t been seen in a while, and lord knows he hasn’t defended that WWE Universal Championship in months but now if this idea goes ahead you will have both brands main championship not defended and this is one of their major pay per views.

Lesnar should have been stripped of the title long ago for breaking the 30-day defence of the belt but now they’re going to dump Smackdown’s title in the same match so it can’t be defended either.

The WWE are usually guilty of this when it comes to the Intercontinental or even United States Championship, for example one or both champions can be found in the Money in the Bank briefcase matches in the past and at WrestleMania.

But the main belts have usually always been on the line and at least the fans got their money’s worth with something to look forward to, with taking both belts out of the defending pool is going to be a major blow for the pay per view and a really bad idea…

But with AJ Styles coming out to interrupt gives us hope that he might have a claim to jump to the head of the line and leave the challenge of a champion vs champion: Jinder Mahal vs Brock Lesnar match in the dust.

Been a fan of the WWE since 2000, watched a few from the early years online, wasn’t a fan of where the “Powers that be” were taking the company but it has gotten better with the brand split, I thought that it was a format that worked
