Reigns Vs Lashley: Winner Gets Lesnar

So finally, Brock Lesnar is “forced” back to defend the Universal championship and that match is now set for WWE’s hottest and biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam – about freaking time, naturally both Reigns and Lashley were forced to “earn” this one on one match, both winning triple threat matches to advance to next week.

Angle was initially about to strip Lesnar of his title and we were freaking dawn with that, as both Lesnar and his mouth piece Paul Hayman didn’t meet Angles twenty-four hour “thing”, only at the last minute did the walrus come out and state – after much prodding – that Lesnar will be at SummerSlam.

Apparently it is Lesnar’s wish to challenge for the UFC title whilst having the Universal belt over his shoulder, well that’s a nice dream but we want a title defence – and unless the plans of changed this is the big match the big rumour was surrounded by, that the part time waste of space was dropping the gold to his challenger.

So if the rumour is true and we are looking at a new champion come SummerSlam, who would we rather want to see doing the challenging Lashley or Reigns, may argue (and that’s us as well) that Reigns is the unofficial Universal champion thanks to that botch at the Greatest Royal Rumble Event, yet others argue that he’s had enough chances which we do agree with as well.

However – what we would like to see is Reigns win this match, go on to SummerSlam and beat Lesnar, why you may ask? Simply in round one of Lashley vs Reigns at Extreme Rules, Lashley won, if Reigns wins this Monday and goes on to win the championship, they would be level at one win apiece.

Now, can you imagine the decider between them, only this time its Bobby Lashley vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, personally – we here at the Squared Circle would want to see the match but like always we might be wrong and Lashley will win.

What do you think?
