So for those who have their heads in the sand and doesn’t watch the WWE, Bray Wyatt is your WWE Champion, which he won at the Elimination Chamber pay per view, Randy Orton, Wyatt’s fellow family member won the 2017 Royal Rumble eliminating Roman Reigns.
After Feb. 15th edition of SmackDown Live and after giving John Cena and weirdly A.J Styles a championship rematch, it looked like the stage was set for the main event of WrestleMania, Randy Orton challenging Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship.
However, after that triple threat championship rematch on SmackDown Live, Randy Orton would make a very bold statement as the show went off the air, Orton pledged to the WWE Champion that as long as he is serving under Wyatt, he refuses to face him at WrestleMania and promised his undying allegiance.
Now this could have implications that Orton is about to go solo and break away, turning is back on the Wyatt family or the WWE is going to use a rare technicity in their rule book that they have used before.
If the winner of the Royal Rumble is either unable or unwilling to go to WrestleMania to face the champion, then the runner up of the Royal Rumble AKA the last eliminated gets all rights and privileges for WrestleMania, meaning Roman Reigns just got his ticket punched for the grandest stage.
Or does it mean that Orton could be going to Raw, remember in the past, Royal Rumbel winners have sometimes chosen to jump brands, picking to face (In this case) Raw’s champion of Kevin Owens.
Who knows, well…the WWE knows but only time will see the WWE Universe informed
