Safe to say that Hulk Hogan hasn’t been around much but rumours are plentiful that, his exile could change. Hogan is allegedly in talks with WWE but if this true, the question is what to do with him.
While a return to the ring is certainly possible (even at his age), current events must be taken into account, Shane McMahon is spending less time on TV and Bryan is now medically cleared to going back to wrestling, there are a couple of possible positions open on SmackDown: Live for a new commissioner or general manager.
While WWE states it doesn’t have a contract with Hogan, they have confirmed that they spoken with him about a return, the elephant size problem in the ring is that at his age, getting back in the ring, wrestling part-time let alone full might not be the brightest idea the old boy’s had.
At 64 years of age, can he really go with the fast pace superstars of today because to be honest, we here at the Squared Circle have no interest in seeing him back in the ring, ok – we will begrudgingly like to see a possible WrestleMania moment out of him or even a short tag match but nothing more than that.
The next question is, if this rumour is true and he is coming back, will he even be good as a commissioner or general manager of SmackDown: Live but it doesn’t exclude the possibility of him becoming a manger to someone on the current roaster.
Only time will tell…
