The latest rumour to hit the office here at the Squared Circle, that we could be happily counting down the days before we say goodbye to Brock Lesnar, at WrestleMania thirty-four, everyone was expecting a new Universal champion to be crowned, that Lesnar was leaving and heading back to the UFC.
But of course, he retained and things got weird as we found he had re-signed with the company and even went on to once again retain at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, it was originally believed his next title would naturally be at Money in the Bank, seeing as he missed WWE Backlash.
But that doesn’t appear to be the case now, as information has reached our desks that Lesnar’s new contract is a short-term deal and not only is it a deal that will allow him to also fight in UFC but expires just before SummerSlam.
If this rumour is true coupled with that there is no actual public appearances set for Lesnar, then his next title defence would be expected to be at Extreme Rules in July and that we are looking at a new champion to be crowned.
After the big loss would needs to occur, Brock Lesnar – we are happy for you to leave and never step back into the ring again.
