Alexa Bliss, New Raw’s Women’s champion

In a bold move by the company that would see Alexa Bliss cashing in her newly won money in the bank contract, invading the Raw’s women’s championship match to become a five time women’s champion after pinning Jax.

This cash-in was heavily rumoured at the very last minute, we here at the Squared Circle heard about it just as the pay per view was about to air but this is a move we hoped would not come to pass as we didn’t agree with the timing.

For one thing information that came with the rumour was that Alexa Bliss was not scheduled to win the contact, through the pushes on Raw, it was said to be Natalya walking around with the money in the bank briefcase.

Another thing was that Ronda Rousey, has been set up as one of the most dominating forces to step into a WWE ring, with many posts on social media and the WWE website about how she was training, that all that momentum she had going in to match has now been wasted, we mean what was the point.

Despite Ronda Rousey winning by disqualification over Nia Jax and while we can still claim a point for our prediction results due to her win via such means, Alexa Bliss should have been made to wait, there were plenty of coming events she could have cashed at for a better spotlight.

This also means that the money in the bank briefcase match was a complete waste of time, the cash-in as robbed the fans of any possible storyline and suspense leading up to what could have been a great match between Jax and Ronda down the road and not just at Money in the Bank.

Another heavy rumour was that the Women’s title match was to main event the pay per view, something that would have done wonders for the women’s division, guess this is just another time that McMahons choices has once again screwed over the fans.
