Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman will incorporate a familiar instrument of destruction in their renewed, volatile rivalry when they collide in an Ambulance Match at the first-ever WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event.
Back in April on Raw, Strowman unleashed a relentless assault on The Big Dog, flipping over an ambulance with his war-torn adversary inside. The following month, Reigns showed it was still his yard when he executed a brutal counter-assault on Strowman that sent the big man away in an ambulance of his own.
Strowman would return the way he went out, suddenly reemerging in an ambulance as The Big Dog battled Samoa Joe on the June 19 edition of Raw. Not only did the distraction allow Joe to overcome Reigns, but The Monster Among Men got some of his own licks in on the three-time WWE Champion before challenging Reigns to an Ambulance Match at WWE’s first-ever Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view event.
An Ambulance Match can’t end in disqualification, count-out, pinfall or submission. Instead, the only way for Reigns or Strowman to emerge victorious is to put their opponent into the back of an ambulance and close the doors.
