WWE Fastlane Prediction Results…

Ok, once more a pet hate of mine shows it ugly mug within the WWE, I don’t know why they insist on giving us such lazy writing but it does nothing but show the incompetence of the writers.

Sure they want to make it look like bonus matches are added on the fly but we all know they are made in advance, so while it was nice to see Cesaro and the Big Show in the ring and even Rusev, these superstars deserve a bit of hype given to their matches and I will not be including the following results in my prediction tally.

BONUS MATCH: Cesaro def. Jinder Mahal
BONUS MATCH: Big Show def. Rusev

Now to be honest, with every match and with each prediction tally, I truly believed that I was about to make history for the first time since starting my WWE predictions, as each decision netted me another point.

Samoa Joe Defeats Sami Zayn

Rich Swann & Akira Tozawa def. The Brian Kendrick & Noam Dar (Kickoff Match)

Raw Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson def. Enzo Amore & Big Cass

Sasha Banks def. Nia Jax

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville def. Jack Gallagher

Roman Reigns def. Braun Strowman

Unbelievably, I netted six straight points in the win tally and was the belief that I could take a “clean sweep” of the board but my beliefs in the last matches proved fatal as the evening ran to a close.

Raw Women’s Champion Bayley def. Charlotte Flair

Now, as much as I love Bayley, having her break Charlotte’s 16-0 pay per view streak might have seem a little rushed, mainly because the push should have come at WrestleMania but take a look at the streak numbers again…16-0

With Charlotte’s father now tying John Cena for the most world championship it seemed that the WWE wanted his daughter to match his record before breaking it by the WWE Women’s champion.

Goldberg defeats Kevin Owens to win the Universal Championship

the WWE really likes to compound things don’t they, it’s not mad enough that we have Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg, round three of a one-on-one shit show coming up at the greatest stage of the year but they are now adding a championship to it is beyond disgusting.

All to get the belt around another fucking part timer but I’m getting ahead of myself, that’s unfortunately still to come but my tally results are six wins and two loses (with two bonus matches) so for this pay per view, I have won my predictions 6 – 2.

I will see you all on the granddaddy of them all, the stage of the immortals…WRESTLEMANIA

Been a fan of the WWE since 2000, watched a few from the early years online, wasn’t a fan of where the “Powers that be” were taking the company but it has gotten better with the brand split, I thought that it was a format that worked
