Yes BATLEGROUND comes to a close and the results of my predictions are in, this one was a near thing but we’ll run through the official results first…

Breezango def. The Usos (Kick-off Match) – Added Match – No Score

The Wyatt Family def. The New Day +1

Sasha Banks & Bayley def. Charlotte & Dana Brooke +1

U.S. Champion Rusev def. Zack Ryder +1

Sami Zayn def. Kevin Owens -1

Natalya def. Becky Lynch -1

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Darren Young ended Double Disqualification – No Score

John Cena, Enzo Amore & Big Cass def. The Club -1

WWE Champion Dean Ambrose def. Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins (Triple Threat Match)

Final Score: Wins 4 = Losses 3 = Unforeseen Added Matches: 1

I can’t believe this came down to the wire with the main event the decider, how painful is that? But with Ambrose’s victory I can say that I squeezed out a victory for this pay per view prediction.

However, there is a couple of things I wanted to point out…

Firstly a pet hate of mine, the WWE writers to fucking lazy to actually give a match some hype by getting the damn thing on the website early to the point where the kick-off match wasn’t on the site the last time I checked before my predictions were posted.

Secondly, I didn’t think the WWE did double disqualifications in pay per views anymore, not since the attitude era, granted they’ve had one superstar lose that way but double, again lazy writing when you could just have the champion retain by these means.

But now we must wait till August twenty-first for the hottest party of the summer, WWE’s SUMMERSLAM where one match has already been added, announced before any of the BATTLEGROUND matches and while I will keep my prediction till the post before the pay per view, I will let you in on the match…
